We are delighted to announce that we are running the life-changing employment programme for young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) for the first year on the South Bank.
DFN Project SEARCH is a one-year supported internship programme for 18 to 24-year-olds who have come to the end of their academic journey and are ready to enter the world of work.
The programme with involve interns completing a total of 3 rotations across different support functions at both Humberside Police (Grimsby) and North-East Lincolnshire Council in order for interns to develop their employability skills as well as provide hands-on experience in the workplace.
We have teamed up with Learning 4 Life, Care Plus Group and North-East Lincolnshire Council to make sure the selected interns are fully supported. They will have dedicated on-site Job Tutor and Coach to help build on practical skills with classroom-based learning and will support interns whilst on their rotations with Humberside Police or North-East Lincolnshire Council.
Applications for the programme close on 4 April 2024 at 23:55:00 BST, ready to start in September 2024.
