Applications are invited from Constables who have completed their probationary period by the closing date of this advert.

This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in a unique team, supporting the work of Counter Terror Policing.

As a member of the SPT, you will utilise the internet to perform covert investigations in support of CTP NE operations relating to national security and domestic extremism.

You will have experience of investigations involving complex exhibits management, along with a detailed knowledge of the relevant legislation including RIPA, ECHR, Terrorist Legislation, policies and stated cases concerning covert and undercover law enforcement operations.

You must have the ability to successfully complete the UCOLO course.
You should be willing to work flexible working hours and call-outs as required, and be willing and able to travel for business purposes throughout the UK and occasionally internationally.

This will be a posting for West Yorkshire Police officers and a transfer or a secondment to the Regional Forces. Under a secondment you will require permission from your current Force in order to be eligible to apply.

Please note that the successful candidate will be subject to Enhanced and Developed level personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment. You must be a British citizen and eligible to hold a British passport to work in the CTP NE.
