The Role

 

The successful role holder will use all of the available force IT systems in order to search for and collate information and intelligence. Help to maintain information and intelligence systems both computerised and manual, to ensure the best possible use is made of those systems and to be a point of contact for outside agencies on information and intelligence related matters on a local, regional and national level.

The successful applicant will have experience of the following areas:

 

  • Is of the Rank of Constable and has successfully completed a 2 year probationary period
  • Has a working knowledge of the PNC and Force CIS facilities
  • Has the ability to make decisions in the absence of supervision.
  • Act positively in the changing face of challenging circumstances
  • Is alert and has an enquiring mind with an ability to see beyond the obvious.
