The role is that of a Surveillance Crime Trainer situated within the Crime Training Department at Robert Dyson House. The trainer will have responsibility for the delivery of training across a number of crime investigation areas to a variety of audiences.  These will also include surveillance training in line with the College of Policing and the candidate must hold an advanced driving and Q1/ level 1 surveillance qualification.  It is essential that the applicant has gained experience within the teaching and learning environment and has successfully completed a Q12 College of Policing Pre- select.

The trainer must have a detailed prior working knowledge of criminal investigation and surveillance training as there will be the expectation of the delivery of level 2 and College of Policing courses (SFIC, Q1, Q3 and Q4) to specialist staff.

There is an expectation that the individual will be able to drive as some of the training venues or inputs may occur away from Robert Dyson House and the trainer, through the collaboration with Humberside Police, will be expected to deliver material within Humberside and West Yorkshire areas.
