West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a NCA Liaison Officer to support operational and external intelligence partners in gathering; analysing, interpreting,developing and disseminating intelligence in furtherance of stated operational objectives.

 

To be considered for this role, you must be able to successfully work within a multi-agency environment, and will already have proven experience in the field of investigation and handling sensitive intelligence.

 

The ideal candidate will also be able to make time critical, dynamic operations decisions and risk assessments in response to immediate events, and will possess a working knowledge of computerised databases and spreadsheets.

 

The successful candidate will also be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA), the European Convention of Human Rights (ECHR), and Data Protection.

Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you are prepared to live and work in the Warrington area, and that you are willing to work both flexibly and extended hours to suit the requirements of the department; which may be required at short notice.

 

Successful candidates must also be prepared to work shifts, including weekends and Bank Holidays. This role will attract 14% shift allowance.

 

The successful candidate will be subject to enhanced personal and financial vetting checks prior to appointment, and must be able to successfully pass the relevant NCA Training Course.
