The overall purpose of the role is to plan and undertake high quality assessments and audits; carrie out analysis and evaluation of force performance capability and demand data, producing reports, summaries and recommendations for use by senior managers, Commanders and Chief Officers. Collates complex and varied information and data in order to identify, understand and predict future demand to resources in order to inform and direct force strategies and to facilitate the completion of the HMIC Force Management Statement.  Identifies highlights and makes recommendations around key issues affecting performance, demand and outcomes.

To be considered for this role applicants must be educated to A level standard or equivalent, literate and numerate and possess a good understanding of research design/methodology and statistical data analysis.
