OPEN DAYS – REGIONAL MARINE AND UNDERWATER SEARCH UNIT

 

The Yorkshire and Humber Regional Marine and Underwater Search Unit are a small dedicated team who are looking to recruit two officers at the rank of constable. One is for an immediate vacancy the second is to remain on succession planning.  

 

An open day with members of the team has been organised at the following locations for any person considering a move to this specialist unit. The aim of this day, which will include a short presentation at 09.30 hours and then again at 13.30 hours, is to offer an insight into the role and responsibilities of the Marine Unit including daily working practices such as deployments, diving projects, use of boats and other specialised services essential to the Yorkshire and Humber region.

 


  • 7th March 2018 – South Yorkshire, Room 4, Carbrook, Sheffield (for anyone wishing to attend please could you consider car sharing as parking is limited)
  • 8th March 2018 – Humberside Police, Melton Conference Centre
  • 12th March 2018 – North Yorkshire Police, Alverton Court, North Allerton
  • 16th March 2018 – West Yorkshire Police, Classroom H1, Dom Pedro Suite, Normanton

 

Following completion of all open days throughout the Yorkshire region, which will take place in March, interested officers will be asked to take part in a formal recruitment process in April and May.
