We have a rewarding opportunity for a forward-thinking Occupational Health (OH) Manager to lead and shape our highly valued Occupational Health Service based in Sheffield.

Working as part of a friendly, multi-disciplinary OH Team, you will contribute to the delivery of an effective and comprehensive occupational health service, as well as offering a solution-based approach to inform our wellbeing agenda. 

SYP offers a critical service to our communities, and working as part of our police family, you will actively contribute to our strategic priorities by ensuring our frontline staff are fit and able to serve the public. You will identify, develop, deliver and evaluate evidence based OH interventions to ensure measurable impact, complying with relevant legislation and guidance to support organisational health and wellbeing. You will lead the development of OH strategies, business plans, processes and systems, and help improve service provision standards, which support force objectives.

The OH functions sits within the wider HR Service and you will be joining at an exciting time in their transformation journey.  The role is part of the HR Senior Leadership Team, contributing to cross-HR initiatives and priorities. You will be fully supported in driving new initiatives and innovation into the role. In addition, you will be visible in the organisation, working with operational and enabling stakeholders to provide high quality management information, designing impactful services that align to our strategy.
