Role: Service Delivery Analyst (Systems)

Location: Nunnery Square, Sheffield / Melton, Hull

Salary: Band C – £22, 047 - £24, 660

Hours: 37 Hours per Week

Contract Type: Temporary – Ending March 2021

 

The successful applicant will help support a team of 18 System Administrators who maintain and develop a number of Force systems across Humberside and South Yorkshire Police Forces.

The role will involve working with a number of computer systems that support Policing activities which include Incident Response, Custody, Force Contact Centres, Case Management, Body Worn Video, Finance, HR and Mobile Technologies.

The role is key in keeping both Force’s IT running. Among the many tasks carried out some of the most important are;

  • Management of user accounts as part of Joiners, Movers and Leavers Process.
  • Reactive management of Incident and Service Requests coming into the System Administration Team.
  • Dealing with incidents that fall within the remit of the Assistant System Administrator.
  • Providing support to System Administrator as and when required.

Skills and experience:

  • Must be a competent user of IT Systems
  • Must have experience of providing support to computer users.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years / 5 years is required for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
