Are you an experienced Admin Assistant or Secretary, and have a desire to work within a project management and business change environment?

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Project Support Assistant to work within the Business Change and Innovation Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the SYP change programme.

The PMO has quality assurance, reporting and support responsibilities within the change programme, which is a fast paced and continually moving, deadline driven environment

As Project Support Assistant, you will be required take and produce minutes of key change programme boards, provide secretarial support to BC&I senior management, and provide admin support to the projects within the programme.

You will assist with finance administration, budget monitoring and undertake processing functions, including inputting, checking and updating.

You will have previous administrative and minute taking experience and be computer literate, including the use of Microsoft Office programs and Outlook.

Skills and experience:

  • Ability to deal with confidential/sensitive matters and maintain confidence
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Outlook or similar.

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years has been identified for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.
