Role: Communications Trainer

Salary: £24,759-£28,353 pro rata

Hours: 32 hours per week

Contract Type: Permanent

 

Role Purpose:

To train Communications staff in the techniques and skills required to perform their role, including effective communication skills and the operation of the relevant computer systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To research, design and develop high quality training programmes on a range of subjects appropriate to the roles within Communications, including computer systems and their subsequent version revisions.
  • To complete assessments on the abilities of individual students as required.
  • To give presentations, talks or lectures and facilitate workshops on relevant subjects.

Skills and experience:

  • Hold a learning qualification at level 3 or equivalent, or willing to work towards
  • Experience of working in a training/teaching environment.
  • Experience of designing and delivering training material

Eligibility:

Applicants must meet the minimum requirement checkable history criteria, which must be taken into account for individuals applying to work with South Yorkshire Police in any capacity. A minimum checkable history of 3 years has been identified for this role and successfully undergoing recruitment vetting procedure is a pre-requisite of employment with South Yorkshire Police.

Any tattoos which could be deemed inappropriate or cause offence will also not be accepted. If you have tattoos, you will need to make a declaration at the time of application.
