The application form must be completed on line and submitted through the e-recruitment system.  Please note there is no requirement to complete any competency based questions.


Please note:

ELIGIBILITY - All candidates must have achieved a standard of education equivalent to A Level (or higher).  Applicants are required to submit proof of qualification at the time of application by way of scanned certificates, exam slips or letter from the relevant educational establishment.  If you do not have certification proof of your qualification at present, you must attach evidence that you have the qualification and a copy certificate is being sought. You will need to provide certification of your highest qualification before you will be progressed. Please only email in your highest level of qualification. For Ex- Military applicants - please upload your exemplary reference or evidence that is is forthcoming.

- TATTOOS - Please note that you must declare and submit photographs of ALL tattoos, whether visible or not. Please ensure you submit a photograph of them as per the application form guidelines. If you have more tattoos than the application will allow you to upload - please email additional pictures to recruiting@humberside.pnn.police.uk stating "March PO Campaign" in the subject.

- DRIVING LICENCE - All applicants must possess a full, valid manual EU/UK driving licence, a copy of which will need to be submitted with your application form. In this recruitment campaign we have given a timescale of June 1st to have completed your driving test. Please upload a picture of your provisional licence if this is the case. If you have not passed your driving licence and do not have your test booked in for before June 1st. Please do not complete the application form and apply when you have your driving licence. 


The closing date for applications has been extended to 11th May 2020 at 23:55 pm. We advise you complete the application as soon as possible.


All Applications are "First come, first served" in the allocation of assessment centre spaces, all supporting documentation must be completed before assessment day.


THE NEXT STEPS:

- Applicants successful in being short-listed, will subsequently be invited to attend an assessment centre.  Assessment centres are expected to run from June or July. The assessment centre may be held virtually.

- All applicants who are successful at assessment centre will be invited to an additional selection test and in Force interview.  Those successful at this stage will then be subject to pre-employment checks. 

These checks will include:

  • Vetting
  • Medical
  • Drugs Test
  • Biometric Test (DNA and Fingerprints)
  • Fitness Test
  • References
